The Camping Village Adria is located just a few kilometers from Ravenna and is the perfect starting point to explore the entire area, with its places full of charm, history, and nature. From the cultural wonders of the city and the natural beauties of the Po Delta Park to the gastronomic offerings, the possibilities are endless.
The cradle of culture and history
Famous worldwide for its extraordinary mosaics, Ravenna is a cultural and historical treasure waiting to be fully discovered. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers various monuments to explore. Every corner of the city tells ancient stories that captivate anyone wishing to immerse themselves in the millennia-long history of this city, and we assure you it is very easy to reach: in just about half an hour by car, you are already in the center. If you are wondering what to see in Ravenna, you cannot miss the charm of these monuments:
- Basilica of San Vitale
- Mausoleum of Galla Placidia
- Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo
- Tomb of Dante Alighieri

Po Delta Park: unspoiled nature and excursions
If you love nature, we have just the thing for you: the Po Delta Park, a protected area where the fauna and flora offer a unique spectacle. With extraordinary biodiversity, the park is one of the most important natural areas in Europe and provides the ideal habitat for many species of resident and migratory birds, making it perfect for birdwatching. Choose to amaze your family with excursions in this area, either on foot or with bicycles available for free rental at the Camping Village Adria (which can be rent for free).
Here are our favorites to do:
- Excursion in the San Vitale Pine Forest – on foot – 5-7 km
- Mandriole Valley and Ortazzo-Ortazzino Loop – by bike – 8-10 km
- Route along the Lamone River – by bike/on foot – 10-12 km

The authentic flavors of Romagna
We are in Romagna, and as everyone knows, the cuisine here is one of its strengths. In the Casalborsetti and Ravenna area, you can try typical Romagna dishes: tagliatelle with ragù, cappelletti in broth, piadina stuffed with local cured meats and cheeses like squacquerone. These are best accompanied by fine wines, among the most famous being Sangiovese di Romagna, an aromatic red wine, and Trebbiano di Romagna, a fresh and fruity white. We recommend fully immersing yourself in the region by savoring these products in the typical osterias of the small Romagna villages, for an unforgettable gastronomic journey.

Fun at Mirabilandia and curiosities
At Camping Village Adria, we are very close to the Mirabilandia amusement park: dedicate a day of your holiday with your children to experiencing special emotions on the many attractions of the largest amusement park in Italy.
Just about an hour's drive from Casalborsetti lies the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, which houses masterpieces from every era and culture. Visiting Faenza, you can admire the works of contemporary master ceramists who continue to keep this centuries-old tradition alive. The ceramics are characterized by floral elements, noble coats of arms, and geometric decorations, often painted with intense colors like blue, green, and yellow. The perfect souvenir to take home as a memory of your holiday in Ravenna!
